A Safe and Caring Environment
We are only a small boarding establishment which enables our guests to get to know and bond with a very few select staff.

The benefit of this of course, is that we do get to know your pets personally.

We get to know if they like being scratched under the chin, whether they love their tummy scratched, if they love playing ball, climbing on the outdoor gym or just sitting on our lap. Even more importantly we know if they are homesick and need hand feeding to make them feel extra special. Or perhaps they just need that extra cuddle and a bedtime story!

We provide first class facilities so that owners can achieve peace of mind, when it is necessary for them to be away from their pets.

Calabash Kennels & Cattery also provides an interesting and challenging work environment for our employees and we reward them for their achievements. Happy staff means a loving and caring environment for “your children.”

Calabash Kennels & Cattery operates on the simple philosophy that your pet should leave here in as good a condition, or better, than when your pet arrived.

Your pets are not locked away and forgotten, but get to spend quality time in our outdoor play areas. Many also accompany us on walks and they love to interact in small managed groups. Our guests get lots of outdoor exercise on our extensive rural property and on hot days may have the opportunity to bathe in our dam.

We believe that all our guests should enjoy a warm and caring home environment.
